1987: Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honors and University Medal), University of Sydney.

1991: PhD in Philosophy, University of California, San Diego. Dissertation Title: "Teleonomy and the Philosophy of Mind."

Areas of Interest
Philosophy of biology, philosophy of mind, metaphysics, pragmatism (especially John Dewey), philosophy of science, epistemology.
