Stanford's spectacularly beautiful location 30 minutes from San Francisco is
an extremely appealing, quiet and convenient place to study.
In addition to all the cultural resources of a major urban center, Stanford's
immediate environs offer seclusion and myriad opportunities for exploration.
And, of course, what you've heard about the weather is true.
The classic Stanford view, you'll soon learn, is from Palm Drive, as below. With good reason, of course, this is
the preferred glamour shot. However, Stanford offers more than sunshine, Mission architecture, and palm trees.
